The Glebe Shul, named for the Ottawa neighbourhood in which it was started, serves as a uniting force for the city’s vibrant, urban Jewish community. A shul without walls, we’re creating opportunities for students, young professionals and new families to explore Judaism, build relationships and support volunteer services around the city. Our innovative, member-driven approach to programming fuels a sense of ownership and community spirit among members, covering a diverse range of activities such as holiday celebrations, educational programs, cultural events – and everything in between! We meet every other week for Shabbat services, delicious home cooked meals and spirited conversation. Come and discover what we’re all about. Eat, Pray, Love thy neighbour!
